GROOVY GRAPE GETAWAYS was born out of the desire to raise standards in the Backpacking Industry.

Starting operations in 1997, with the Barossa Valley tours, we have grown to cover the best of Southern and Central Australia. Today our tours also include a range of exciting destinations from the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians in Victoria, to the Flinders Ranges, Coober Pedy and William Creek in the South Australian outback, and Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.

Groovy Grape Getaways caters to the backpacker market who want a fun, informative and adventurous tour.

Groovy Grape Getaways tours are all-inclusive tours. All meals, accommodation and National Park fees are included. No nasty surprises!

We are passionate about where we go and what we do. We are a young, active, energetic tour company: our tours and passengers reflect this.

Quality is paramount ... with our coasters having a maximum of 20 comfortable seats, air-conditioning and stereos. We offer top quality swags at the end of a day in the outback, comfortable hostel accommodation, delicious meals that cater to dietary requirements and knowlegeable, interactive guides.

Our culturally aware tours have been endorsed with accreditations for Eco Tourism and Tourism Business. You will not only experience the outback way of life but get up close and personal with many wonders of wildlife which own this great expanse of beauty.

Our tours are always enjoyable and informative. Our guides know each of the places you'll visit and understand their history, culture and people. We have radio communications on board, carry an approved first-aid kit and the guides have current first-aid certificates.
